Launching skincare companies has been big business for celebrities in recent years with Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kim Kardashian all founding their own ranges.
And Ellen DeGeneres is the next A-lister who is looking to stake her claim in the already saturated market.
The 63-year-old television personality – who announced the end of her talk show in the wake of a toxic workplace scandal – broadcasted the launch of Kind Science skincare on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday.
Ellen said that the range – which is set for release at the end of this month – has been developed over the past three years.

Keeping up with the theme of name, the company boasts their products are kind to skin, animals, and the environment.
The jump to producing beauty products is a little interesting as Ellen previously had a longtime partnership with CoverGirl over several years.
She first became the face of CoverGirl in 2008 and it was a highly successful partnership as CoverGirl became the first US cosmetic brand to hit $1billion in sales within a year of the Ellen launch according to The Drum.
On her show, Ellen began her announcement by saying: ‘There’s something that I’m very excited about. I have been working on this for three years and I’m excited to share it with you today’
